The community is nestled among the Great Smoky Mountains and Fontana Lake, with the one side bordered by the Nantahala National Forest.

From Atlanta:
Take I-75 north to I-575 north
I-575 will turn into Hwy. 5, continue on Hwy. 5 through Blue Ridge
Turn left on Spur 60, continue a few miles and make a righ to continue on Spur 60
Go into North Carolina and take a right onto Hwy. 74
You will go through Murphy, Andrews, and then the Nantahala Gorge
As you leave the Gorge, take a left onto Hwy. 28
Go 5 miles and take a left on Tobacco Branch Road
Go 1.5 miles and the entrance will be on the right
